L’incontro, davvero speciale, si è tenuto nel carcere di Reggio Calabria. Per la prima volta alcuni reclusi hanno avuto la possibilità di ascoltare direttamente da un familiare di una vittima cosa significhi quando la ’ ndrangheta uccide, quali sofferenze provoca, quali ferite profonde lascia in chi resta. Con loro anche operatori e volontari presenti all’incontro conclusivo del laboratorio ' Se Caino aiuta Abele'. 
 Deborah Cartisano ha ripercorso tutte le stazioni della via crucis sua e della sua famiglia. « Per anni abbiamo scritto ai sequestratori per cercare un dialogo, per fare capire loro la sofferenza che avevano creato in noi ma anche a loro stessi, per avere una segnalazione su dove fosse il corpo di mio padre.
