During my journey I have always dealt with women and their role, marginalization and emancipation. In trying to understand this I met a great sociologist at the University of Calabria, Renate Siebert (now retired) and with whom we have spoken several times. Proprio perché il controllo sociale sul territorio e sui suoi abitanti riveste quella centralità per il potere mafioso, le donne, nei fatti, svolgono ruoli molto importanti.
