Stili di vita errati che fanno schizzare i numeri dei malati di diabete: il 56,6% dei diabetici ha piu' di 65 anni, il 35,4% ha un'eta' compresa tra i 45 e i 65, l'8% ne ha less than 45, while nearly 1 out of 5 people with diabetes under 55 years. The type 2 diabetes about 91.9%, and among these, 1 in 10 between 45 and 55 years, but already '4 out of 100 under 45.
As to the line, two-thirds of patients with type 2 diabetes are obese, but the fourth patient with type 1 diabetes.

La posizione di Massari e Accardi in merito all’ingresso nella direzione cittadina del partito democratico di Ragusa resa pubblica con un comunicato, ci spinge a precisare,aderendo noi giovani provincialmente all’area Ammatuna e, soprattutto, avendo contribuito in maniera determinante al risultato significativo che Massari ha ottenuto sia a livello provinciale con la sua candidatura alla segreteria provinciale, che cittadino nella lista “Uniti per Unire”, che non condividiamo il percorso dell’area stessa di entrare in direzione cittadina.
Riconosciamo che Massari e Accardi ribadiscono di essere all’opposizione, in maniera netta e forte, rispetto alla segreteria cittadina, ma, lungi da noi fare polemica alcuna con l’area stessa, preferiamo continuare il percorso unitario della lista “Uniti per Unire” e costruire strumenti di partecipazione democratica alternativi all’attuale segretaria cittadina.
La lista “Uniti per Unire” ha già denunciato, in relazione all’elezione del segretario cittadino, il ribaltone consumato con alleanze diverse da quelle scaturite dal voto congressuale.
Alla elezione è seguita il non rispetto delle regole democratiche del partito, una gestione di parte del partito con l’assunzione di posizioni politiche per la città né discusse né concertate.
Se vogliamo costruire veramente il bene della città, dobbiamo costruire inanzitutto, e prima di tutto, il bene del maggior partito di opposizione e dare un’alternativa credibile a questa città nel rispetto della dialettica, ancor prima che con gli altri partiti di coalizione, all’interno del partito stesso, affrontando i problemi con la consapevolezza che nel PD non ci può essere posto per individualismi né di vecchio né di nuovo genere.
Vogliamo mettere al centro della nostra riflessione prima e della nostra azione politica poi le esigenze dei nostri cittadini: i problemi dei precari della scuola, l’università, le politiche del lavoro e dello sviluppo, la disoccupazione e la precarietà,la continua emigrazione dei giovani fuori dalla Sicilia e dall’Italia, la crisi dell’agricoltura e dell’edilizia, il parco degli iblei e e il piano paesaggistico.
Tutto questo può essere raggiunto non attraverso un coinvolgimento strumentale e tardivo ma attraverso la chiara differenziazione instruments and democratic methods. "
