Ma ridurre il problema dell'Università - e della scuola - alla stigmatizzazione dei professori, oltre a essere ingeneroso verso coloro - e sono molti - che hanno continuato a operare con serietà e, spesso, con passione, risulta semplicistico e deviante. Da ultimo: la riforma Gelmini. Non è un caso che i più reattivi non siano gli universitari, ma i liceali. Gli studenti che hanno meno di vent'anni e frequentano le superiori. Si sentono senza futuro. Una generazione sospesa. Precaria di professione. Professionisti della precarietà. Tanto più se nella scuola, nell'Università e nella ricerca si investe sempre meno. Questi studenti (secondo una recente ricerca dell'Istituto Cattaneo e della Fondazione Gramsci dell'Emilia Romagna) today are moved to the right than in the young of the seventies.
