Back again in the streets of Calabria from 6 to 8 March, the event "Gardenia AISM" promoted on the occasion of the Feast Women's support for research and help women to fight multiple sclerosis. People with multiple sclerosis in Calabria there are about 1,900. On land there are 5 sections Aism in Catanzaro, Cosenza, Crotone, Reggio Calabria and Vibo Valentia. Over 5,000 gardenias will be distributed by volunteers of the association which will be joined by volunteers from the national associations of shooters, the police and firefighters. In Calabria sections Aism offer people with MS and their families the following health and social services: social secretariat, support the autonomy of the person, recreation and socialization, a telephone hotline, transportation, specialist visits, outpatient physical therapy and home and activities information, awareness and fundraising. "In addition to scientific research and dedicated to health and social services to people affected by the disease - is written in a note AISM - funds raised will support also the program 'Women as well as multiple sclerosis'."
